I cannot mention everyone who helped me this weekend but I do have to especially thank Leslie Conrads and Robert de Berardinis for the time they spent hosting me at a number of events. I also loved all the Cajun food!
The Houston Genealogical Forum is a very active organization with a full calendar of events (look at http://www.hgftx.org/Content-Public/Calendar-Of-Events/Page.asp to see the current schedule). Besides, they are just fun people to be around.
If you live in or near Houston, you might want to join this active group. For more information about the Houston Genealogical Forum, go to http://www.hgftx.org/.
