My Weekend in Roswell, New Mexico

WCSign2bI would like to thank the library staff of the Wilson-Cobb History and Genealogy Research Library in Roswell, New Mexico for a great time on Saturday. I was invited to give several presentations in the very modern Roswell Civic Center. More than 100 genealogists attended and seemed to enjoy themselves.

You can learn more about last Saturday's event at http://www.wilsoncobb.org/DEastman.html although it is now a past event; I suspect the library's webmaster will remove that page within a few days.

The Wilson-Cobb History and Genealogy Research Library is a great resource with more than 4,500 books and 8,000 periodicals. The Library also has microfilm, microfiche and genealogy CDs. In addition, the library subscribes to the  Ancestry.com online service and provides computers to access those services free of charge to patrons.
