Television viewers in the U.K. can watch a genealogy programme on television starting this week on the Yesterday channel.
The new FindMyPast series has five new episodes:
- Great escape
- Dickens' Double Life
- Battle of Trafalgar
- Scott of the Antarctic
- Abdication crisis
Each episode explores how three people are related to someone from a key historical event by searching the records on findmypast.co.uk. The three participants are united and it's revealed how they're linked through their ancestors.
The first episode, Great escape, is at 9pm on Tuesday 8 January 2013 on the Yesterday channel: Freeview channel 19, Sky 537, Virgin Media 203.
