OK, there is one drawback: you have to be able to use the new program in German or in Swedish. It seems there is no English version available just yet.
Strangely, the primary Family Tree Maker web site at http://www.familytreemaker.com/ makes no mention of this new software. Of course, that web site is in English so perhaps there is no need to mention software in another language that happens to be produced by the same company. However, you can read about the new Swedish and German versions on Ancestry.com's German and Swedish web sites:
Ancestry.com's German web site at http://www.ancestry.de/cs/de/family-tree-maker has an announcement written in German but you can read an automated English translation by Google at http://goo.gl/hlcHN.
Ancestry.com's Swedish web site at http://www.ancestry.se/cs/se/ftm has an announcement written in Swedish but you can read an automated English translation by Google at http://goo.gl/4fv6k.
You can also read more in an article by Alona Tester on the Gould Genealogy web site (in Australia) at http://www.gouldgenealogy.com/2013/06/family-tree-maker-world-express-is-available-for-free/ and in an article by Tamura Jones (in the Netherlands) at:
