Members of the Greater Cleveland Genealogical Society have expressed concern about the future of a large collection of genealogy material presently housed at the Fairview Park branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library. The position of genealogy specialist at that library is being eliminated and books at other libraries within the county library system are being disbursed throughout the system’s other branches. Genealogists are concerned that the genealogy collection also may be broken up and distributed elsewhere.
