In recent weeks, I see that genealogy events have been listed in:
U.S.: Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia
Canada: Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan
Elsewhere: Australia, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Sweden, United Kingdom
The calendar uses wiki software. A wiki is a web site that allows visitors to make changes, contributions, or corrections. This means you and all the other readers of this newsletter can add information directly. If you do see listings for past events or anything that is inappropriate for a listing of genealogy events, please delete it immediately. YOU (and the other newsletter readers) control all the information in the Calendar of Genealogy Events.
I invite everyone to add events to the calendar at http://www.eogn.com/calendar. It might be an event that your local society is sponsoring or simply an interesting event that you read about elsewhere. If you or someone you know is holding an online webinar, you might add that also.
To genealogy speakers: I would suggest you add the event(s) where you are speaking. A listing at http://www.eogn.com/calendar will certainly help with the publicity. You also can add pictures (please keep them small), bio, and anything else you think is appropriate.
