The Margaret L. Wendt Archive & Resource Center will house a collection of historic community archives. The center will provide preservation of archives and maps, as well as electronic access for international research.
The new Archive & Resource Center includes interment records dating back to 1849 that will now become accessible to members of the public, who will have the ability to visit the center and create online genealogy reports. Another $500,000 will go into the digitization process.
