How will your children or grand children learn about you and your life? What if they would be more like you, think more like you? A new startup company promises to build an Artificial Intelligence representation of your life, based on chat logs, email, Facebook, and other digital exhaust generated over the years. The company's web site proclaims, "Eterni.me generates a virtual YOU, an avatar that emulates your personality and can interact with, and offer information and advice to your family and friends after you pass away."
Eterni.me says the company's new service will record all the important events, adventures and thoughts in your life and make them accessible to future generations who never met the real you. Even better, your yet-unborn descendants will be able to interact with your memories, as if they were talking to you in person!
Another page on the Eterni.me web site proclaims, "It's like a Skype chat from the past."
You can learn a bit more on the Eterni.me web site at http://eterni.me/. However, there's not much info there just yet. The product apparently does not yet exist; it is something being planned for the near future.
I am not sure my descendants will ever obtain an accurate image of my life from something based solely on chat logs, email, and Facebook!
