A new Chrome browser add-on promises: "Tell us about your ancestors and we will help you find their records. This extension automatically detects your ancestors information on FamilySearch and Ancestry and creates a set of buttons that allow you to search for collections that may contain their records."
The new extension not only finds addresses of the repositories that hold the records, it also displays maps of each location. With Find-A-Record, you never enter names. Instead, this it finds the locations of record repositories. The new extension is available free of charge but is still under development. This is a beta test version and you shouldn't be surprised if it still has a few bugs.
