My Pictures from the RootsTech and FGS Conferences

RootsTech2015 and FGS conferencesI just uploaded a photo album of many of my photographs from the RootsTech 2015 and FGS combined conferences held in Salt Lake City last week. To get an idea of what it was like at the conferences, look at: http://eogn.com/images/newsletter/albums/RootsTech2015.

You can click through the slides one-by-one by clicking on the forward and back arrows:
Or let the slideshow automatically advance by clicking on the triangular RUN icon:
You can also view everything in full screen by clicking on the “full screen” arrows:
Finally, you can also forward information about this photo album by clicking on any of the icons in the lower left corner, including Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Pinterest, and even by email:

Note: I am experimenting a bit with creating online photo albums. If successful, I will probably do the same at future genealogy events I attend.

Will the lectures/classes be available for streaming….like last year? That was really great for us that couldn’t attend the conference..

The kick-off sessions and a few lectures are already available online at http://www.rootstech.org

Recording videos is very expensive, requiring a lot of hardware and many people. Therefore, the cameras were only set up in one room: the largest lecture hall. I believe some of the lectures held in that room are also available for online viewing. However, lectures given in the (many) other meeting rooms were not videotaped.

Thank you for posting the Rootstech pics. I would like a copy of a couple of them–just for memories. Is that possible?
Amazing–I walked around the conference hall and saw so many great items you didn’t photograph, but you saw at least 6 booths I never saw–darn!! Were we in the same conference ;-}? I learned soooo much at this conference like every one I have been to. I had a list of questions for Ancestry–FamilySearch, Mocavo (now Find My Past booth) and about my IPAD and Siri–All were answered–now to to apply that knowledge——need a year.
