I thought you might like to know that The National Library of Australia has a free eNewsletter with many things of interest to Genealogists. My cousin sent me this contact information: From: National Library of Australia [mailto:enews=nla.gov.au@cmail20.com] On Behalf Of National Library of Australia.
In recognition of the National Genealogy Month, they are offering free subscritions to their newsletter. They will hold a webinar where those participating may as a Family History Librarian about research references and other questions. if you live in Australia, they offer on-line registration for a library card, and with that they have access to the Sydney Morning Herald archives.
There are other feature like their newspaper collection which is ocr. I have used that for a long time.
