Returning for a 14th series, the producers of the U.K. version of the Who Do You Think You Are? Television Programme have reveal;ed the following celebrities will be featured in this year’s version:

  • Games of Thrones’ Charles Dance, OBE – AKA Tywin Lannister
  • Clare Balding, OBE is an award-winning broadcaster, journalist and author.
  • Big Brother’s Emma Willis
  • Director, Choreographer and Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood

MyHeritage, the sponsors of this newsletter, received some excellent publicity recently in a television segment on an Israeli prime time news show, watched by over 25% of Israel’s population. PBS’ “Genealogy Roadshow” is Seeking New Orleans Participants for Upcoming Episode

There seems to be a lot of genealogy television news today. The popular PBS series “Genealogy Roadshow” is seeking New Orleans-area residents who want to explore their family history on national TV. An episode of the series will shoot in the city in September, but participants are being recruited now. The New Orleans episode will air in 2015.

New Season of Who Do You Think You Are? begins July 23

Cynthia Nixon and Rachel McAdams are among those featured on the new season of Who Do You Think You Are? The 48-year-old Sex & the City actress and 35-year-old The Notebook star will have their heritage explored in the new season of the popular television show.

The series will return to TLC for a second season next month. The upcoming episodes also feature Valerie Bertinelli (One Day at a Time), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family), Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls), Kelsey Grammer (Cheers, Fraiser) and Rachel’s sister Kayleen McAdams. Past stars include Sarah Jessica Parker, Brooke Shields, Tim McGraw and Vanessa Williams.
The new season of Who Do You Think You Are? premieres July 23 on TLC.
